中國的基礎教育重在方法,美國的基礎教育重在理念. 象中國, 會讓學生背九九表, 每個生字寫三遍, 美國沒有這些訓練. 中國的考試重難度, 越難分越高; 美國的考試重基礎, 越簡單分越高. 美國是”因材施教”,學生可以”想”學什麼就學什麼, 反正有大學可上; 中國因”考”施教, 不管學生是否有興趣. 中國”一日為師, 一生為父”,美國”一日為師, 一生為友”,所以, 我才說美國的學生可以不搽黑板, 也沒有負咎感; 中國不一樣, 學生不搽黑板就是”不尊”. 當然, 我也同意 “無為熊”的觀點, 美國的學生需要”枯燥”訓練, 要知道: 有所不為才能有所為.不過, 話說回來, 中國是把”枯燥訓練”用於無數人, 美國是有數人自覺投入”枯燥”訓練, such as the creator of Facebook, Mark, start his job from 13 with less social life, then he could get in H. If he is in China, I guess he could not get in any official college because he could not pass the examination, probably he would be viewed by teachers as a “bad” student since he played too much computer game.
