From the superconductor experiments, electric currents can be maintained indefinitely. But from the Maxwell’s theory, an accelerating movements of electrons will emit electromagnetic waves. Hence we should expect the current to stop, even without resistance. Where is the problem? 

There was the same argument against the Rutherford atomic model. Later people said that the micro world doesn’t follow Maxwell law. But how about the macro world?
