老岳的学术成就

老岳于1989年获得北京大学学士学位，1995年获得明尼苏达大学物理博士学位。在读博士期间，老岳至少发表了如下6篇论文：

对于这种纯理论的研究，其学术成就的高低可用所发论文杂志级别的高低和论文被引用次数来评价。这里仅以论文三为例。这篇论文发表在PRB上。学物理的都知道，除了Nature, Science, 和PRL, PRB代表了物理的最高水平。到目前为止，这篇论文已被引用114次。

为了说明老岳学术成就的高低，本人在这里比较一下老岳和与老岳同样有名的方世民先生。方先生1990年获得中国科技大学学士学位，1995年获得密西根州立大学生物化学博士学位。根据方先生的自传，方先生在读博士期间，发表了一篇论文。然后在做博士后期间，又发表了两篇论文。这三篇论文是

其中，方先生作为第一作者的论文一篇，即论文二。JBC应该是在Nature, Science 和Cell之后代表生化最高水平的杂志。到目前为止，方先生这篇论文被引用了47次。

由上讨论可见，老岳在读博士期间取得了令人嘱目的成就。他在博士期间所发表的论文至今仍为人所引用。
