小崔从不自己正面回应,后面这个“绅士”看着像牵绳的。不过这个绅士也是东扯西扯回避主要问题,即:转基因食品有害的种种说法依据是什么?“绅士”给出的链接里我有两个打不开,只有路透社的报道打开了(http://www.npr.org/blogs/health/2011/06/07/131270519/americans-are-wary-about-genetically-engineered-foods)。里面说“One thing everyone seems to agree on is that a food should say on its label if it's from some genetically modified animal or plant — 9 in 10 people surveyed said so.” 这个十个里有九个说的是虚数。但是就在这一段之前,文章里同样说“People who are a little older, make more money and have at least a college degree are most likely to think safety is not an issue for the foods, whose qualities have been altered by laboratory manipulation of DNA.”说明米国有点文化的人们对科研工作者还是比较信任的。
还是那句话, 科学的问题还是要回归科学。真正该对转基因危害性提出质疑的应该是广大农业和生命科学家,而不是主持人、记者、经济和法律教授。
