Now matter how as long as you are live in the golden area, you do not need to remodel your house. I saw several of my neighbors sold their house and when the new owners move in, they all remodel the house. Some of the houses looks very good both inside and outside, but the new owner tear down the house and build a new one.

I asked the new owner why they tear down the house it was in very good condition though. The new owner told me they did not like the style of the house but like the location.
