Illusion and disillusion

If we seek truth 
We will reject illusion 
We will celebrate 
The achievement of disillusion

Yet we need illusion 
To decorate our plain life 
We need illusion 
To hide the ugly truth 
We need illusion 
To keep us happy and high 

When reality trashes illusion 
When reality smashes illusion 
We become depressed
And disillusioned

We desperately seek new illusion 
We vigorously reject truth
In the hope to avoid
Being dis-illusioned
