        Krypton is the number thirty-six on the periodic table. The atom can be found in liquid air after evaporating it, and the residue left behind is krypton. This is the method that Sir William Ramsay and Sir Morris Travers used in 1898 which led to the discovery of krypton. This noble gas has been used in certain electrical lights as well. The name “krypton” comes from the Greek word “the hidden”.
