        In the hopes of helping to improve my community, I applied for the position of Memorial Garden chair. Tasked with beautifying a ceremonial garden, I posted sign-ups on our Key Club website, but to my dismay, I found submissions in single digits, the garden in shambles, and the deadline fast approaching. Taking a more proactive strategy, I split up the sign-ups into distinct sections: flowering, weeding, and watering. I also reached out to other groups to increase awareness of the program and recruit people for a dedicated clean-up event. Finally, during the Saturday morning work session, over thirty people showed up, and we were able to get the garden weeded, watered, and cleaned.

        As I listened to the Star-Spangled Banner play during the Memorial Day ceremony, I realized the importance of effective management and how strategic planning with organized roles and adaptiveness resulted in success.

        為了幫助改善社區，我申請擔任紀念花園主席一職。清理裝點花園時節，我在本校鑰匙俱樂部網站上發布登記表，但令我沮喪地發現只有個別人交表參加義工，這時花園一片狼藉，截止日期臨近，於是我採取更為積極主動的策略，將登記表分成不同部分：澆花、除雜草及澆水。與此同時，我不僅聯繫其他小組以提高大家對這項活動的認知，而且還招募同學專門參加清理活動。周六上午開工期間，終於來了三十多人，大家除草澆水，把花園打掃得乾乾淨淨。

        當陣亡將士紀念日那天聽到《星條旗》時，我意識到有效管理的重要性，成功實施戰略規劃離不開組織技能與協調能力。
