（2022年10月）剛剛叫了救護車送我先生去醫院。總覺得凶多吉少可還是得面對。Tom淚流滿面地交待他的所有的帳號密碼在iPad的note里。他恐怕也是有預感？Tom就是太弱,又拉又瀉好幾天了，也不怎麼吃東西。他吃抗抑鬱的藥還要吃消炎的藥，還有糖尿病的藥，各種藥物不能平衡。救護車上的人說他心臟可能有問題。看着曾經高大威武的Tom現在變得瘦弱憔悴,我滿心傷感。我跟着救護車到了醫院，大廳里只有我一個人，還是上網吧。在我先生的note里看到了他的日記。十月四號的，那時我還在從新澤西與高中同學聚會後返家的路上。(下文中Li是我的小名，11是女兒的小名, Lucky是我家的狗）My wife is a wonderful woman with great intelligence and ability. It was amazing that she was able to reunite with 14 of her classmates in New York. The pictures and videos she sent gave me a greater understanding of the Chinese people andculture. All of these classmates left China and Relocated here or in Canada. What shows through is the warm caring nature of Chinese people. I am so happy she had this opportunity to reconnect with her friends. All I have is one friend, my wife and daughter. Yi has all these additional friends and classmates again. I am so happy for her and very proud of her. She is tougher and smarter than I am. Her ability to learn a new language, become a teacher here and master technology is amazing. I love you Li. My greatest accomplishment has nothing to do with coaching basketball, it was bringing Yi and 11 here to this country. Let that be my legacy. That, and all the young lives I touched in fifty plus years of teaching and coaching.Thank you God and take care of Li and 11 please！我的妻子是個了不起的女人，她很有智慧和能力。令人驚奇的是，她能夠去紐約與 14 位同學團聚。她發來的照片和視頻讓我對中國人民和文化有了更深入的了解。所有這些同學都離開了中國，在美國或加拿大定居。照片中表現出來的是中國人的熱情關懷的本性。我很高興她有機會與她的朋友重新建立聯繫。我只有一個朋友，我的妻子和女兒。誼又多了這麼多朋友和同學。我為她感到高興，也為她感到驕傲。她比我更堅強，更聰明。她學習一門新語言、成為這裡的老師和掌握電腦技術的能力令人驚嘆。我愛你麗。我最大的成就與執教籃球無關，而是把誼和11帶到了這個國家。這件事以及我在五十多年的教學和指導中觸及的所有年輕生命。這才是我的傳奇。謝謝上帝，請照顧麗和11！
