溫哥華港灣（BCbay.com）記者Paul攝影報道：海外華人聚集的高密度都市溫哥華，越來越成為全球大中華文化體系中的一個重鎮，扮演着愈來愈重要的角色；除了中加、港加雙邊的官方文化交流以外，大中華文化圈中的民間、商業文化活動，都不約而同的把溫哥華作為重要坐標予以考慮。短短的2010年一個夏天，就有四場大型選秀活動在溫哥華舉辦，足以證明了溫哥華在大中華圈中的魅力。

8月31日晚大溫哥華地區列治文市的河石劇場，舉辦了由香港亞洲電視台舉辦的的全球“亞洲小姐”選拔走秀比賽，大約800名各界人士出席了這場選美秀，12名來自於加拿大溫哥華地區的佳麗參加了競爭和表演，一時之間，美女如雲、口水如河，走秀和觀秀，都欣享了巨大的精神娛樂和滿足。
“亞洲小姐”溫哥華選拔賽的最終獲獎結果為：
冠軍：4號 何丫（Sasha He），並獲得了最上鏡、才智、優雅姿態、最具魅力、嬌美體態、閃爍生輝等6個單項獎，是本次選拔賽的最大贏家，並將代表溫哥華赴香港參加“亞洲小姐”總決賽。
亞軍：9號 彭藍媚（MeiMei Peng）
季軍：5號 何桂 （Krystal Ho）
