During the teacher's conference, several of us pushed the issue hard, but we did not get Ms. XXX's full attention.  She was not fully prepared during the teacher's conference.  Just general blah, blah.  She did not have a clear vision of how to challenge the Ath grade kids.  I think that she  either does not understand the vision of school district's  program or does not spend too much effort in teaching this  kids. 

It surprised me that she finished the teacher's conference ten minutes earlier.  In our more than 12 years as a program parents, we have never seen this happen.  Normally the teacher has a lot to say, especially the first one during the semester.

 If we talked to Ms. XXX first, do we need to wait, observe, then decide whether we should talk to YYY? Or regardless, we need to talk to YYY.  

 The time is short, I really want to push this issue hard and get not just Ms. XXX's attention, but also Mrs. YYY's attention too.

 Based on different 5th grade parents' input, they had a similiar issue last year with a different teacher.  After they addressed it to Mrs. YYY, the issue was quickly resovled and all on the same page since then.
