（2022年10月）刚刚叫了救护车送我先生去医院。总觉得凶多吉少可还是得面对。Tom泪流满面地交待他的所有的帐号密码在iPad的note里。他恐怕也是有预感？Tom就是太弱,又拉又泻好几天了，也不怎么吃东西。他吃抗抑郁的药还要吃消炎的药，还有糖尿病的药，各种药物不能平衡。救护车上的人说他心脏可能有问题。看着曾经高大威武的Tom现在变得瘦弱憔悴,我满心伤感。我跟着救护车到了医院，大厅里只有我一个人，还是上网吧。在我先生的note里看到了他的日记。十月四号的，那时我还在从新泽西与高中同学聚会后返家的路上。(下文中Li是我的小名，11是女儿的小名, Lucky是我家的狗）My wife is a wonderful woman with great intelligence and ability. It was amazing that she was able to reunite with 14 of her classmates in New York. The pictures and videos she sent gave me a greater understanding of the Chinese people andculture. All of these classmates left China and Relocated here or in Canada. What shows through is the warm caring nature of Chinese people. I am so happy she had this opportunity to reconnect with her friends. All I have is one friend, my wife and daughter. Yi has all these additional friends and classmates again. I am so happy for her and very proud of her. She is tougher and smarter than I am. Her ability to learn a new language, become a teacher here and master technology is amazing. I love you Li. My greatest accomplishment has nothing to do with coaching basketball, it was bringing Yi and 11 here to this country. Let that be my legacy. That, and all the young lives I touched in fifty plus years of teaching and coaching.Thank you God and take care of Li and 11 please！我的妻子是个了不起的女人，她很有智慧和能力。令人惊奇的是，她能够去纽约与 14 位同学团聚。她发来的照片和视频让我对中国人民和文化有了更深入的了解。所有这些同学都离开了中国，在美国或加拿大定居。照片中表现出来的是中国人的热情关怀的本性。我很高兴她有机会与她的朋友重新建立联系。我只有一个朋友，我的妻子和女儿。谊又多了这么多朋友和同学。我为她感到高兴，也为她感到骄傲。她比我更坚强，更聪明。她学习一门新语言、成为这里的老师和掌握电脑技术的能力令人惊叹。我爱你丽。我最大的成就与执教篮球无关，而是把谊和11带到了这个国家。这件事以及我在五十多年的教学和指导中触及的所有年轻生命。这才是我的传奇。谢谢上帝，请照顾丽和11！
