早上醒來，我仍然睡眼惺忪。可是，我必須抓緊時間，為了趕乘上午七點五十八分飛往智利首都聖地亞哥的航班。媽媽和我簡單地在下榻酒吧吃了點早餐，然後由專車送至拉帕•努伊國際機場。我簡直不敢相信自己的眼睛，機場秀氣得就像一座大樓！三天前剛剛抵達這裡的時候，我怎麼一點沒有覺察？莫非我有眼不識泰山？然而，媽媽一聲不吭，難到她有耳不聞雷霆?

      When I woke up early this morning, I still felt like sleepy. But I had to catch the plane @ 7:58 am to Chilean capital city of Santiago. My mom and I had a quick breakfast at the bar. We took a hotel shuttle van and rushed to Rapa Nui Intl. Airport (IPC) in Easter Island. I couldn't believe my eyes. The airport was so delicate that the plane seemed to have the same size as its building! Why didn't I realize the fact as I arrived 3 days ago? Was I too excited to notice it? How come my mom never mentioned it?

      As we checked in and passed through the security, I wondered how many planes had landed there to fit such tiny Polynesian cultural hub. When I was finally past the checking point, I looked out the window and did not surprise to see that our plane was the only one in the entire airport.

      辦好登機手續，通過安全檢查，我開始打量這個堪稱波里尼西亞文化樞紐的機場到底能容納多少架飛機。走出海關，我使勁向窗外張望，結果不出所料，除了我們的飛機，機場空空如也。

      On the plane, I immediately started to take an advantage and select the free movies only on LAN Airline. I watched "Cars 2" and "Diary of the Wimpy Kid" in front of me during 5-hour flight. I really preferred "Diary of the Wimpy Kid" to "Cars 2" because it's hilarious and historically funny.

      飛機上，我顧不得眨巴眼睛，全神貫注緊盯座前腦袋大小的屏幕。這年頭免費提供影視遊戲娛樂的航線屈指可數，智利航空公司如此慷慨大方，真比天上掉下的餡餅還要實惠過癮。五個小時空中飛行，我一口氣拿下兩部影片。《小屁孩日記》比《汽車總動員》續集更好看，主要因為內容風趣，情節逗樂。

      After a bumpy landing, we hired a taxi driver to drop us off in our hotel. The ride took long from the suburb of Santiago Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport (SCL) to the city center, but I did not even feel so bored. The street scenes showed off the beauty of Baroque, neo-classical, Victorian and native architectures in a unique snow-capped Andes style, which well correlated to what I learned from my piano lesson. It made me understand how music flew into architecture in gorgeous, elegant, romantic and contemporary expression. No wonder why architecture is music frozen in place, while music is architecture frozen in time.

      飛機像跟誰過意不去似的狠勁地着了陸，我們旋即打的直奔酒店。從聖地亞哥郊區阿圖羅•美利奴•貝尼特斯國際機場到市中心路途很長，不過我絲毫沒有無聊之意。道路兩旁的街景十分特別，巴洛克、新古典、維多利亞、當地民族建築活脫脫展示出白雪皚皚的安第斯山脈風情，散發着音樂旋律中華麗、優雅、浪漫、現代氣息，正如我從鋼琴演奏上學習的藝術表現力那樣。難怪建築是凝固的音樂，音樂則是流動的建築。

      A disaster struck us. The sky turned gloomy and it began to rain heavily. So we were kidnapped inside the hotel! I wished that the pouring rain would stop soon.

    天氣惡，晦氣到。窗外大雨傾盆，我們乾脆被綁架在酒店裡面動彈不得！真希望雨過天晴的時刻儘早來臨。
