Leonard Cohen是在加拿大Montreal 出生的犹太裔音乐人。现在已经78岁高龄。下面这段是从维机百科抄来的有关他的各项荣誉。
Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame Prince of Asturias Award for literature。 我最喜欢的他的歌是 Hallelujah 以及 In My Secret Life.
介绍他，当然要介绍他的这首 Hallelujah。这首歌实际是他在80年代写的。但是，经过了很长的时间，这首歌才成为一个Hit，这要感谢歌手Jeff Buckley， 是他使这首歌广受推崇。Leonard Cohen在一个访问里说，他最喜欢Jeff Buckley的对这首歌的cover。Bon Jovi也曾经说过，当听到Jeff Buckley唱这首歌时，就知道这首歌将成为一个Hit。后来这首歌被几百个歌手演唱过，还被翻译成多种语言。
但是，我最喜欢的版本还是加拿大的女歌手K.D.Lang的cover，特别是在温哥华冬季奥运会上的演唱，非常震撼人心。K.D.Lang是出生在加拿大Alberta的女歌星，已经出柜很久了，据说当时还引起了她家乡保守人民的愤怒。哈哈。 下面就是她在冬奥会上的演唱。
