椰子女士的理解是：这中间有一个关键词：to be incarcerated,被你翻译成“犯罪”，这个词是指被监禁、囚禁。也就是黑人白人都做了犯罪的事，但是被囚禁的机会不同，黑人被囚禁机率是白人的十倍。这才是作者（也包括你引用的研究的作者）的原意 。

我希望大家帮我分析一下，是我令人啼笑皆非，理解力有问题，还是椰子女士被她的苦情思维蒙蔽了理解力。
