昨天当万圣节进行时，我发表了这些是垃圾吗？

当我又进入我们地区的网站，在地区废物管理站的网址看到了下面这段新的告示：

请把你的万圣节南瓜放在绿桶里。你可以切成小块放在绿桶里，或者将整个南瓜放在绿桶里，或是绿桶的顶部！

记住去掉蜡烛和灯具。

请看下面是从网站复制的：

Jack o'lantern? Green bin that!

Recycle your pumpkin this Halloween by green binning it. 

For collection, cut it up into smaller pieces before placing it in the green bin, or leave it whole and place on top of the green bin.

Please remove all candles.

Pumpkins will be composted. Compost is a valuable soil amendment to help local farmers grow crops...maybe even more pumpkins!

有下面这些标志的塑料袋是可以用来装食品垃圾的，因为它们可以和食品一起被沤掉。其它的塑料袋子不能放在绿桶里。

Green bin materials in plastic grocery bags, or "degradeable" bags that do not have one of the above logos will not be collected.
