You should not have listened to his version.
Like your breath support, clear diction, and beautifully blended chest and head voices. A dramatic performance with vivid dynamics. But...this is not exactly your song. There are quite a few "forced" notes that sound strained, and are accompanied by unnecessary tension in the throat. |
