十年前, 日子都是在中国度过的, 在家里, 没有圣诞, 只有过新年, 过春节… 

倒是记得那时每年的圣诞期间, 如果因工作需要联系公司在美国总部的人, 几乎是妄想. 

来美国后的最初几年, 几乎每年的圣诞节期间, 开车去公司或回家的路上, 从车的收音机里总会传来卡朋特的一首歌 Merry Christmas, Darling . 

记得在高中的时候, 我哥哥给了我一盘卡朋特的磁带, 我每天如痴如醉地听她的歌. 里面有 Yesterday Once More, Close to You, etc 不过还没有听过这首有关圣诞的歌. 

以后每年的圣诞, 我就会想到这首歌 …
