We all enjoy decadent life: Wine and dine, painting and poem, photography and calligraphy, travel and holiday.

But decadence is costly, in terms of time and other resources. A society indulging in decadence inevitably squeeze out its most fundamental function: raising children. With the neglect to next generation, comes the decay of the society.
