這一章提到了很多了的“knowledge”，可惜中文翻譯的太令人失望了。
比如：His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him 竟然翻譯成“皆因我們認識那用自己榮耀和美德召我們的主”

應該翻譯成象這樣的句子：他通過***我們對他的知識***而給了我們一切所需要的----WOW，對他的知識他給我們一切所需的手段！！

這個*對他的知識*是如此地重要，以至於從來短小精悍利索乾脆的彼得用一個篇幅特別特別地來說，他死前要盡一切的努力讓人們意識到這點。And I will make every effort to see that after my departure you will always be able to remember these things.

那麼這麼重要的對他的知識在哪裡呢？就是聖經-“經上所有的預言”
1）首先，我們有have the word of the prophets，這個聖經上的話語是如此的非同尋常，如此寶貴，就象晨新星一樣點明了黑暗的人心，希望那糊裡糊塗認為聖經上的話語不過是話語的天嬰之流被這一章點燃，AMEN。
And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

2）其次，經上所有的預言都是有聖靈同在地，WOW，就是說，聖經經文本身呼之欲出的蓬勃的生命就在於此，絕對不需要人的生活故事來翻譯，只需要人的生活來見證。
Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of S　c　r　i　p　ture came about by the prophet's own interpretation. 21For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

3）這裡的預言是指的經文的記載，和東施效顰們的那些個預言不可同日而語。

我讀這篇，忽然意識到作者是彼得，那個從來不囉嗦不拉雜的弟子，他有什麼事情要用文字而不是他習慣的行動來表達呢？一定是很重要的咯，結果一看，感謝主，我能感受到這些經文後聖靈對他的那個督促，哈里路亞。
