昨日的鮮花是怎樣自行重排
它們全都傾斜朝向了窗

每天早上白雪皚皚的山峰是如何
盡情沐浴着鮮桃色的陽光

皺摺起伏的水又是怎樣在風中
不再映射天上渡鴉的翅膀

多麼難得啊，西部的冬之晨
能這般清新，這般太陽明亮

發覺自己在廚房窗前入夢
發呆，杯子裡的咖啡變涼

桌上的花束橙黃，紫紅，碧藍
那是我們昨天說再見的地方

不知怎麼就分離了
在這黎明時光

morning after

how yesterday’s flowers rearrange themselves
they all lean towards the window

how every morning the snow-dusted peaks
bathe in peach-coloured sunlight

and the rugged water, how that too
stops mirroring raven wings in the wind

winter mornings in the West, how seldom
such crispness, such sun, such light

how transfixed I am, the coffee grows cold
in my cup, I find myself dreaming

at the kitchen window, the bouquet
orange, purple, blue on the table

where yesterday we said goodbye, some-
how parting at the break of day
