It is surprising to see yellow leaves fall in early autumn.
They are drifting desolately like exiled souls at bottom.
Struggling to hang on to the trees, they twist, twirl and sway.

Watching in early autumn the yellow leaves are made to be shedding
As a wanderer,I feel sad and worry where is the room on halting.
They are struggling on the branches and try to hang themselves on,
Mumbling that it is hard to leave the forest for it is our home town.

曹評： 着眼點不同，也很精彩。中文原文似為離枝之葉在空中飄舞而不落的姿態，賀蘭兄之譯作似為雖搖搖欲墜但還連在枝上之葉的姿態，其不舍之情亦同。
