小小阿立（小兒子）昨晚看了《Crazy Rich Asians》，在臉書（Facebook）上寫了一大段感觸。

早上起來看到，也小小激動了一哈。

微信轉發了文軒和其它幾個朋友、童鞋群。

文軒的恩麗（老來天真）：仁兄，需要翻譯啊。

當時正在外面給阿立嫂拎包、笑拼（shopping）。

下午在家，咖啡喝喝。

繼續激動之餘，匆匆翻譯了一下（附在小小阿立原文之後）。

I don't normally get emotional during movies but man, Crazy Rich Asians brought out all the feels. It's pretty cool getting to see different aspects of your culture both featured and celebrated.

Including the scene with the "Tan Hua" (Google it if you don't know what it is). My parents literally had that plant in our family room. One night it bloomed and my parents were taking pictures of it, and the next day it was gone. 

For me, the most emotional scene was when they were all eating street food together. Food is an aspect of Asian culture that is exceedingly unique. For those of us that are Asian, food is a mix of culture, identity, community, and celebration. It's not just something we do because we have to, but it's something we love and enjoy with our friends and family. 

If you're not Asian, try something new or be open to different foods. If you know someone who is Asian, ask them to take you somewhere they like to eat.  And if you enjoy it, let them know; it will make their day!

我看電影很少動情。乖乖，居然被《瘋狂的亞洲富人》大牽情了。看到你祖傳文化的不同方面被宣傳、推介，真的很酷。

被觸動的情節之一是‘曇花’（不知道曇花的朋友可以問谷哥）。父母的家庭起居室里也有曇花。一天晚上曇花要開花，父母坐等花開、圍着拍照。第二天曇花就謝了。

最讓我動情的鏡頭是他們一起在街邊小吃。飲食是亞洲文化里尤其獨特的一面。對我們亞裔來說，美食是文化、身份、社群和歡慶的融合。它不是簡單的因為我們需要，而是我們的喜愛，尤其是和家人朋友一起享受。

如果你不是亞裔，試試嘗新、接受不同的餐食。若你認識的人里有亞裔，請他們帶你去他們愛吃的餐館。告訴他們你喜歡他們的推薦。他們會為此樂翻一天的。
