相比之下，我覺得dean的版本略嫌拖沓，例如Carriage after carriage stands的carriage長而無力，不如Coach after coach；又如In there it is crowded，遠不如Inside, a crowd那麼突兀生動。

根據我的理解，把石默的中文版稍改如下：

《車站》

 

火車剛到達。車廂一節一節停下不動，

可是沒有門打開，沒有人上下。

到底有沒有門？車內一群群

被關着的人們紛亂地走來走去。

凝望着，透過緊閉的窗戶。

外面，一個人沿列車走着，手拎一把鐵錘。

他一路敲打車輪，聲音微弱。只有這裡除外！

這裡鏗鏘作響，難以置信：就此一剎那的隆隆雷鳴，

大教堂的鐘聲，出航環遊世界的鏗鏘之音

托起了整列火車以及四周的潮濕的石頭。
