有几日闲暇，整理诗词文字之玩，捡出这一于2019年在校友群的讨论，即以实例佐证（本人理解的）十四行诗该如何汉译 - 

The New Colossus

Emma Lazarus, 1849 - 1887

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,

With conquering limbs astride from land to land;

Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand

A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame

Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name

Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand

Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command

The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.

“Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she

With silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor,

Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,

The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.

Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,

I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

Rhyme pattern:  1221, 1221, 343, 434

1不似希腊名塑携带青铜镌铭，

2张开征服的臂膀跨越毗连的土地；

3在碧海漾波的落日金辉之门竖峙

4一位伟岸女性高擎火炬，它的光明

5突破禁锢的闪电，她的英名

6放逐者之母。从她火炬之臂

7燃起遍布世界的欢迎；她的温和目光期冀

8遥空连接的港口构建双子城式的镶拼。

9“惟守望，旷古的土地，和你们曾经的传说！” 她的音泣

10伴随沉寂的唇。“给我倦累，贫困，

11拥挤不堪但向往自由呼吸，

12那众多人们，被悲惨地拒绝登岸允准。

13将这些，无家可归的，被暴风雨颠簸的惊魂，向我聚集，

14在金色之门巅我高高举灯召引！”

汉译应同样以四韵部分别在同样句位上押韵，以为真正意义上的十四行诗。

目前所见纸面或网页各译，仅为传达英诗文意，未睹在诗的汉韵上合辙者。
