《夢江南》 納蘭容若
昏鴉盡,
小立恨因誰?
急雪乍翻香閣絮,
輕風吹到膽瓶梅,
心字已成灰。

Celebrated Poetry by Qing Dynasty Manchu Poet Nalan Rongruo "Dreaming about South of the River"
Crows all gone at dusk,
I sorrowfully pause for a moment and who is to take blame for all this?
Snow flakes abruptly swirled into the aromatic chamber like willow catkins,
mild wind is agitating wintersweet branches in the gallbladder-shaped vase,
my heart note is already perished into ashes.

Crow flew away and disappeared to the sky.
He is standing there with his heart aching, and why?
Snowflakes whippe like flying catkins cuddling the boudoir,
where once his sweetheart was staying.
Winds gently touch the wintersweet inside a vase,
and make its swaying
The heart-shape incense has already burned to ashes,
as well his heart become cooling

Crows winged their way in the fading light,
I stared blankly at them until they disappeared from sight.
Wind borne catkins scatter like raging snow
Drifting aimlessly into the bedchamber, slow
The disturbed air gently sway the petals of the samuume on display
My hopes for the future ebbing away

Away flown all the crows, standing shortly,
How I longed for her, like snowflakes eagerly,
Writhe as catkins into the incense pavillion,
Where she used to stay with my companion.
Only the breeze still sways the plum in vase,
Gray is my heart burnt in the thurible of brass.

《Dream of Jiang Nan》by Nalanrongruo, Qing dynasty
I stood sadly in wind when evening crows had flown away,
Willow catkins, like snow flakes, were fluttering into the incense pavilion
Where my sweetheart used to stay.
The plums in a vase swang as late winds swayed.
I felt lost as the jasmine incense burnt gray.
