The country south of Yangtze River is gorgeous,
with sceneries captivating my deep memories. 
The sun rising over riverside flowers gets more red fire to emit,
while river water of the springtime turns just as green as orchid. 
How could I possibly not miss it?

Yangtze's South, wonderful scenery，
Never escaped my memory.
Rising sun paints bank bloom vermilion.
Fresh spring dyes green waves cyan.
Couldn't help but bring back images
Of the water webbed villages.

Landscape in the south of Yangtze River caught eyes of mine
Grand spectacular left deep memories in my mind that are so familiar
Water flowers reflect fresh crimson color due to the sunshine
The River flashes green accompanying blue since the spring draws near
How could such charming scenery not be reminisced or combine?

The southern Yangtze River is so deeply impressed in my head. 
The Sun at dawn time makes the waves burning red,
Which have already been dyed dark blue by the spring, though, 
I can not reject the beauty’s recalls , you know.

The scenery of southern Yangtze River is very pretty,
That was once so familiar and making me enjoy.
The shinning Sun illuminated the riverside wildflowers redder than fire,
The spring dyed river-water was so deep green looked like blue colour.
How could I not often recall such a beautiful view and be happier?

The charm in the south of the Yangtze River,
Could always be seen with closing eyes.
While the red flowers burn in the sunrise,
Green water like bluegrass floats with Spring nearer.
By a warming cup of wine against cold,
The longing for the south grows that I can't hold.
