相比之下，我觉得dean的版本略嫌拖沓，例如Carriage after carriage stands的carriage长而无力，不如Coach after coach；又如In there it is crowded，远不如Inside, a crowd那么突兀生动。

根据我的理解，把石默的中文版稍改如下：

《车站》

 

火车刚到达。车厢一节一节停下不动，

可是没有门打开，没有人上下。

到底有没有门？车内一群群

被关着的人们纷乱地走来走去。

凝望着，透过紧闭的窗户。

外面，一个人沿列车走着，手拎一把铁锤。

他一路敲打车轮，声音微弱。只有这里除外！

这里铿锵作响，难以置信：就此一刹那的隆隆雷鸣，

大教堂的钟声，出航环游世界的铿锵之音

托起了整列火车以及四周的潮湿的石头。

一切都在歌唱。这，你将记住。继续旅行吧！
