Perhaps it's because Americans have even less justification in attacking Iraq than Russia has in attacking Georgia; or perhaps it's because Americans pretense of righteousness is more sickening than Russians pretense of justification. At least the South Ossetians are cheering for the Russians, while not even Americans are cheering for the Americans. To all those who still defend the unjust war in Iraq when all manners of excuses have been thrown out the window, shame on you.
