We know that God doesn't grant a prayer and give us something unless He thinks it's good for us and befitting to His plan. So if we pray for something, and the prayer is granted, yet either because circumstances has changed (the prayer wasn't granted in time), or because you see something better that you didn't even think of praying for, or because what you get has something that you don't want, do we have the luxury of giving it up altogether? Would this be a test of our obedience? Or would this be irrelevant?
