Christians cannot afford to go around spreading half-truths and lies, only to look sheepish when these "testimonies" turn out to be mistaken, fake or phony. We are the witnesses of JESUS CHRIST, we belong to the Truth and the Light. But unfortunately, I don't see anyone care about the truth. To them, as long as it "sounds" real, it is real.
