本来KJV版本是有一句的，但是由于天主教发现了所谓更古老的圣经版本，于是删除了这句。其实KJV所本的版本是集合了多个（几百个-几千）版本的本子。我更相信KJV的版本对这句的翻译。

约翰一书 - 第 5 章
6这借着水和血而来的就是耶稣基督。不是单用水，乃是用水又用血。NIV:
This is the one who came by water and blood--Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.
7并且有圣灵作见证，因为圣灵就是真理。
For there are three that testify:
8作见证的原来有三，就是圣灵，水，与血。这三样也都归于一。
the Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.

实际的希腊和KJV都有“三位一体”。

7For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
作见证的原来有三，就是圣灵，水，与血。这三样也都归于一。And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
