O Most Merciful Lord God,

How happy is the man who willingly abandons oneself for the sake of gaining the very best in humanity deeply rooted in thy own glory!

Thou have created us to be "divine" in the sense that we are the imagio deo. Even though we may have a finite beginning, we have no end in sight. We are thus acquainted with a measure of thy "divinity". Help us to drink more of the glory of thy very own.

Thus willingly we turn our lives around and commit our lives to thee, for in this self-denial comes the most glorious fulfillment of humanity rooted in divinity.

We praise thee for thy wonderful creation and redemption. In the name of our elder brother Jesus Christ who models perfectly as the imagio deo, Amen.
