18:4 容我拿點水來，你們洗洗腳，在樹下歇息歇息。
18:5 我再拿一點餅來，你們可以加添心力，然後往前去。你們既到僕人這裡來，理當如此。”他們說：“就照你說的行吧！”
18:6 亞伯拉罕急忙進帳棚見撒拉說：“你速速拿三細亞細麵調和做餅。”
18:7 亞伯拉罕又跑到牛群里，牽了一隻又嫩又好的牛犢來，交給僕人，僕人急忙預備好了。
18:8 亞伯拉罕又取了奶油和奶，並預備好的牛犢來，擺在他們面前，自己在樹下站在旁邊，他們就吃了。
18:9 他們問亞伯拉罕說：“你妻子撒拉在哪裡？”他說：“在帳棚里。”
18:10 三人中有一位說：“到明年這時候，我必要回到你這裡，你的妻子撒拉必生一個兒子。”撒拉在那人後邊的帳棚門口也聽見了這話。
18:11 亞伯拉罕和撒拉年紀老邁，撒拉的月經已斷絕了。
18:12 撒拉心裡暗笑說：“我既已衰敗，我主也老邁，豈能有這喜事呢？”
18:13 耶和華對亞伯拉罕說：“撒拉為甚麼暗笑說：‘我既已年老，果真能生養嗎？’
18:14 耶和華豈有難成的事嗎？到了日期，明年這時候，我必回到你這裡，撒拉必生一個兒子。”
18:15 撒拉就害怕，不承認，說：“我沒有笑。”那位說：“不然，你實在笑了。”

亞伯拉罕為接待陌生旅客立下良好的榜樣，我對待身邊最親近的人卻是……
18:2-5 亞伯拉罕熱情款待這三位客人，羅得也一樣（19:2）。當時，個人的聲譽與是否殷勤好客大有關係，即便對陌生人，也會像貴賓一樣來接待。真誠地款待客人、供應食宿，不但過去或是現在都是最直接和實際地表示對神順服的方式，也被證明是建立良好人際關係的方法。當我們有機會接待陌生人的時候，應當記得亞伯拉罕的榜樣（參來13:2）。
“有甚麼事會難倒神嗎？”
18:14 沒有任何事會難倒神。我們要習慣作如此思考：“我想改變的這種習慣，對主是否太難呢？”“我個人在溝通上有問題，在主是難成的事嗎？”這樣的問題提醒我們神願意親自參與我們的生命，也鼓勵我們尋求他的幫助。
撒拉因隱藏著的懼怕而撒謊，在我心的深處，是否也怕……
18:15 撒拉因為怕被人知道她笑了，所以撒謊。我們害怕別人知道我們內心的思想和感情，或者發現我們做錯了事，這些懼怕最容易叫人撒謊；但是撒謊比講出實情令事情更複雜、帶來更多的麻煩。我們不從心底信靠神，我們的麻煩會比我們最初想像的更多。

在描述神對亞伯拉罕祝福的應許逐步實現的過程中，創世記
插入了一個雙方面的提醒──罪仍在盛行；而神也仍然在審判
罪！所多瑪和蛾摩拉是死海南端西訂谷的兩座城市，前面曾提到
它們（13：10－13和14：17），因為羅得定居在那地。羅得與
此罪惡之地的緊密聯繫已經給他帶來麻煩（創14），但那無法與
即將臨到的災禍相比。耶和華的使者給亞伯拉罕帶來了使他喜憂
各半的兩條消息。請牢記，隨着經文的發展，我們將看到神的罰

觀察與評論：
好信息（18：1－15）確認生子時間
1. 耶和華的使者（18：1，13，17）和兩個天使（兩個人＝兩個
使者）在希伯侖向亞伯拉罕顯現，亞伯拉罕立刻認出他們不
同尋常，因而他“俯伏在地”（18：2）。
2. 亞伯拉罕盛情款待，客人欣然接受。注意這並不是一個只在
頭腦里出現的異象，而是一件實際發生了的事件，因為他們
“吃了”所預備的食物。
3. 耶和華及其天使訪客不僅僅是路過那裡，他們是有目的而
來。首先，他們特別向亞伯拉罕和撒拉再次確認了神為他們
預備後嗣的應許（18：9－10；見17：19，21）。
“三人中有一位說：‘到明年這時候，我必要回
到你這裡；你的妻子撒拉必生一個兒子。’撒拉
在那帳棚門口也聽見了這話。”（18：10）
很顯然，關於懷孕和出生都是神手的工作。
“到明年這時候，我必回到你這裡來。”當時撒拉已90
歲──“年紀老邁”“月經已斷絕”（18：11）。
4. 她的反應是心裡暗笑，雖然耶和華知道（聽見）她心裡所想
的（18：12－13）。神的回答是：你必要信在神沒有作不到
的事（18：14）！這時撒拉感到很尷尬，但為時已晚（18：
15）。她的竊笑暴露了她的小信。撒拉顯然在經歷這奇蹟過
程中對付了自己的小信，並且把結果當作是神的工（見來
11：11－12），然而她的信心在起初是很弱小的。這就是神
帶來的好消息──神在應許祝福的事上是信實的。同時，壞
消息就要臨到。

[kjv] And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.
[bbe] And he said, I will certainly come back to you in the spring, and Sarah your wife will have a son. And his words came to the ears of Sarah who was at the back of the tent-door.
18:11 [hgb] 亞伯拉罕和撒拉年紀老邁、撒拉的月經已斷絕了。

[kjv] Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.

18:12 [hgb] 撒拉心裡暗笑、說、我既已衰敗、我主也老邁、豈能有這喜事呢。
[lzz] 撒拉肚子裡暗笑着說∶「我已經衰敗，我的丈夫也老邁，那裡還能有婚媾的樂趣呢？」
[kjv] Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?
[bbe] And Sarah, laughing to herself, said, Now that I am used up am I still to have pleasure, my husband himself being old?
18:13 [hgb] 耶和華對亞伯拉罕說、撒拉為甚麼暗笑、說、我既已年老、果真能生養嗎。
[lzz] 永恆主對亞伯拉罕說∶「撒拉為什麼暗笑着說∶『我既已老邁，果真能生養嗎？』
[kjv] And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old?
[bbe] And the Lord said, Why was Sarah laughing and saying, Is it possible for me, being old, to give birth to a child?
18:14 [hgb] 耶和華豈有難成的事麼．到了日期、明年這時候、我必回到你這裡、撒拉必生一個兒子。

[kjv] Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
[bbe] Is there any wonder which the Lord is not able to do? At the time I said, in the spring, I will come back to you, and Sarah will have a child.
18:15 [hgb] 撒拉就害怕、不承認、說、我沒有笑．那位說、不然、你實在笑了。
[lzz] 這時撒拉害怕了；就否認說∶「我沒有笑。」那位說∶「不，你真地笑了。」
[kjv] Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.
[bbe] Then Sarah said, I was not laughing; for she was full of fear. And he said, No, but you were laughing.
