19:12 二人對羅得說：“你這裡還有甚麼人嗎？無論是女婿，是兒女和這城中一切屬你的人，你都要將他們從這地方帶出去。
19:13 我們要毀滅這地方，因為城內罪惡的聲音在耶和華面前甚大，耶和華差我們來，要毀滅這地方。”
19:14 羅得就出去，告訴娶了他女兒的女婿們（註：“娶了”或作“將要娶”），說：“你們起來離開這地方，因為耶和華要毀滅這城。”他女婿們卻以為他說的是戲言。
19:15 天明了，天使催逼羅得說：“起來！帶著你的妻子和你在這裡的兩個女兒出去，免得你因這城裡的罪惡同被剿滅。”
19:16 但羅得遲延不走。二人因為耶和華憐恤羅得，就拉著他的手和他妻子的手，並他兩個女兒的手，把他們領出來，安置在城外；
19:17 領他們出來以後，就說：“逃命吧！不可回頭看，也不可在平原站住，要往山上逃跑，免得你被剿滅。”
19:18 羅得對他們說：“我主啊，不要如此！

擁有名和利，使人不願離開世俗的生活。我，是否也有捨不得的東西？
19:1 城門口是城中官員跟百姓討論重要事情和交易的地方，也是有權勢的人聚集的地方。天使在所多瑪的城門口看見羅得，顯然他在城中有一定的身分和地位，這也許是他捨不得離開所多瑪的原因（參19:16, 18-22）。
罪能污染神子民的價值觀，叫人對惡行麻木。我的心是否有被污染的危險？
19:8 父親怎能只為了保護兩個陌生人，而捨得將自己的女兒交給暴民去蹂□呢？這可能是羅得要救女兒和客人的計謀，他盼望女兒的未婚夫會來救她們，或者希望由於那些同性戀的男人對女子不感興趣，索性走開。雖然不惜一切去保護客人是當時的習俗，但羅得這可怕的做法，反映出羅得的生命已被罪同化了。在罪惡的城市中，他對惡行已經麻木不仁，不再有任何感覺了。不管羅得的動機如何，我們在這裡看到所多瑪的可怕惡行，使神不得不將全城毀滅。
罪惡之城的結局，對我所身處的社會有何提醒？
19:13 神應許：如果所多瑪城有十個義人的話，他也不毀滅那城（18:32）。神差遣天使去毀滅那城，表明那裡連十個義人也沒有。考古學的證據顯示，那地方在亞伯拉罕的時代已經十分先進和文明，大多數研究人員也證實那地方曾突然遭到毀滅。現在，人們普遍認為這城已被埋在死海南端的海底下。所多瑪的下場教導我們要信靠神，對付可憎的罪惡。
在別人的眼中，我與神子民的身分相稱嗎？
19:14 羅得在不敬虔的所多瑪人中間生活太久，又安逸富足，不能再為神作可信的見證了。他容許環境來塑造自己，而沒有嘗試去改變環境。認識你的人是看見你為神作見證，還是看見你已經隨波逐流了呢？向罪妥協的羅得對神來說幾乎沒有用了。他最後立定主意對抗罪惡，可是卻沒有一個人聽他的。你是否也被身邊的人同化以致神不能再用你呢？不想同流合污，我們就要在信心和行為上與眾不同。
為世俗之樂所吸引，就會在向神委身的事上猶疑不決。我要猶疑到幾時……
19:16 羅得仍然猶豫不決時，天使就拉著他的手，急急地帶他逃離危險之地。羅得捨不得放棄在所多瑪所享有的財富、地位和安適的生活。在對錯選擇很清楚的時候，我們很容易去指責羅得被所多瑪迷惑。要避免重蹈羅得的覆轍就需明白，我們對順服神的猶豫不決往往來自享樂的吸引。
最渴望誰得救，就要立即為他代求了……
19:16-29 我們看到神對亞伯拉罕的慈愛，恩及羅得和他一家。因亞伯拉罕為羅得代求，神在毀滅所多瑪時，就對羅得施憐憫，拯救了他。義人常常會使別人得到益處。雅各說：“義人祈禱所發的力量是大有功效的。”（雅5:16）我們應當效法亞伯拉罕，為別人的得救禱告。
神的寬容與烈怒，讓人深愛又敬畏他。在我心中，神是……
19:24 我們從神毀滅所多瑪和蛾摩拉的事上看出神性格的兩方面：他有極大的耐性，他願意為那城的十個義人，饒恕惡貫滿盈的所多瑪城；他也會大發烈怒，毀滅這兩個城市。隨著靈命的長進，我們就會因神對罪惡的烈怒，而更敬畏他；也會因他忍耐我們所犯的罪過，更深愛他。
捨不得離開──羅得的妻，是捨不得離開罪，還是──？我，也有甚麼捨不得放下的？
19:26 羅得的妻子回頭看那焚燒著的城市，對過去依依不捨，不願意完全撇下。當你想更親近神的時候，是否還在回頭望，想留在罪中呢？不放棄舊的生命，我們跟神的關係就不會有甚麼進展。耶穌說：“一個人不能事奉兩個主。”（太6:24）

10. 首先應該清楚聖經指出羅得是義人（見彼後2：6－10）。值
得疑惑的是他和眷屬為何要活在罪的氛圍中。彼得後書的章
節可能顯示羅得在那裡是為神作“光”，但他非常接近與邪
惡一同被毀滅。過於接近罪惡總會帶來不良的後果。
11. 隨着罪（特別是性變態）的邪惡性質逐漸被完全暴露出來，
聖經展現了一幅悲劇的情景。

d) 羅得試圖勸阻他們不要作這些不道德的行動，說：“眾
弟兄請你們不要作這惡事”（19：5－7），卻是枉然。
然後羅得居然提出，如果他們放過客人，就把還是處女
的女兒交給他們。羅得決定迎合當地不正當的好客風
俗，暗示他也被罪所欺騙了（19：8）。
e) 所多瑪人拒絕了羅得的條件，說道：
“這個人來寄居，還想要作官哪！”（19：9）
然後他們試圖抓住羅得，幸好天使及時搭救，並使所多
瑪人眼瞎（19：10－11）。肉體的眼瞎反映了他們屬靈
的眼瞎，使這些變態的罪人被屬靈的黑暗所吞沒。這是

12. 然後天使問羅得家裡還有什麼人並催促他們離開，說道：
“我們要毀滅這地方，因為城內罪惡的聲音，在耶

羅得試圖說服女婿離開，結果卻是徒然（19：14）。天明了
（19：15），天使實際上是拽着羅得及妻子並他女兒的手，
把他們領出城外：
“但羅得遲疑不走。二人因為耶和華憐恤羅得，
就拉着他的手和他妻子的手，並他的兩個女兒的

神的仁慈（憐恤）強過了羅得的抵制，這實在是一件好事，
否則羅得就會同樣滅亡。
13. 天使的警告是：
“逃命吧！不可回頭看，也不可在平原站住，要
往山上逃跑，免得你被剿滅。”（19：17）
令人納悶的是羅得懇求天使不要毀掉一個叫瑣珥的小城，好
讓他能逃到那裡而不去山上，天使也答應了這個請求。
“你僕人已在你眼前蒙恩，你又向我顯出莫大的
慈愛，救我的性命，我不能逃到山上去，恐怕這
災禍臨到我，我便死了。看哪！這座城又小又近，
容易逃到，這不是一個小的麼？求你容我逃到那
里，我的性命就得存活。”（19：19－20）
14. 破曉時分，神將火的審判降臨到罪惡的城市──
“當時，耶和華將硫磺與火，從天上耶和華那裡，
降與所多瑪和蛾摩拉，把那城和全平原，並城裡
所有的居民，連地上生長的都毀滅了。”（19：
24－25）
神可能是使地下的硫磺瀝青坑噴發滅掉那城，也可能是直接
從天降火。任何一種方式都能清楚表明神的信息。
15. 羅得之妻顯然仍然眷戀所多瑪的生活，因為她忍不住回頭
看，於是“變成了一根鹽柱”（19：26）。今天死海邊仍然

我們不要貪戀世界。直到我們讀了下一部分，才能明白為何
羅得沒有被毀滅。

[kjv] Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;
[bbe] Then the Lord sent fire and flaming smoke raining down from heaven on Sodom and Gomorrah.
19:25 [hgb] 把那些城、和全平原、並城裡所有的居民、連地上生長的、都毀滅了。
[lzz] 把這些城、和這一片平原、跟城裡所有的居民、連地上所生的、都覆滅了。
[kjv] And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.
[bbe] And he sent destruction on those towns, with all the lowland and all the people of those towns and every green thing in the land.
19:26 [hgb] 羅得的妻子在後邊回頭一看、就變成了一根鹽柱。
[lzz] 羅得的妻子向後一望，就變成了鹽柱。
[kjv] But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
[bbe] But Lot's wife, looking back, became a pillar of salt.
19:27 [hgb] 亞伯拉罕清早起來、到了他從前站在耶和華面前的地方、
[lzz] 亞伯拉罕清早起來，在他前天站在永恆主面前的地方，
[kjv] And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the LORD:
[bbe] And Abraham got up early in the morning and went to the place where he had been talking with the Lord:
19:28 [hgb] 向所多瑪、和蛾摩拉、與平原的全地觀看．不料、那地方煙氣上騰、如同燒窯一般。
[lzz] 向所多瑪蛾摩拉、那一片平原全地眺望觀看，哎呀，那地方的煙氣還往上冒，就像燒窯的煙氣一般。
[kjv] And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace.
[bbe] And looking in the direction of Sodom and Gomorrah and the lowland, he saw the smoke of the land going up like the smoke of an oven.
19:29 [hgb] 當 神毀滅平原諸城的時候、他記念亞伯拉罕、正在傾覆羅得所住之城的時候、就打發羅得從傾覆之中出來。
[lzz] 當上帝毀滅了那一片平原諸城的時候，上帝記起了亞伯拉罕來，當他覆滅了羅得所住之城的時候，他打發了羅得從覆滅之中出來。
[kjv] And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.
[bbe] So it came about that when God sent destruction on the towns of the lowland, he kept his word to Abraham, and sent Lot safely away when he put an end to the towns where he was living.
