Hi Dove,

Not sure if you still remember me. We had online praying meeting for a while, and I am the mom with epilepsy child.

I just want to drop you a note and wish you happy new year! Don't see many posts from you on the rainbow forum nowadays, hope everything is going smoothly on your end.

My daughter is doing very well since this March, she has been almost seizure free since then except when she has fevers. This is such a blessing to us. Finally I am able to relax a little and start enjoying her. However her development is very much delayed, now she takes speech, physical, occupation therapies from hospital and from public school, these services really help her to make progress. Other than
that, she is a very happy, energetic girl.

I'd like to tell you the praying meeting really helped me during the most difficult time of my life. You probably didn't even realize how much this meeting helped me. I was very much home bounded (couldn't go
anywhere since Lianne was having seizures almost everyday) and very much hopeless, actually rather desperate at that time, the praying meeting really calmed me down and gave me some relief. I had hard
time to talk about my feelings and desperating to my local friends, and glad to find some online friends to share a little. I am sure the path down the road is not an easy one, but I am glad I have found God once again to give me strength and comfort.
