本次大选，经常看到“I approve this message”，觉得挺有意思的，原来这是美国政治习用语。 据说在美国做一个好基督徒有两点特征:每天看Fox News，投票支持共和党。我前几天读某著名基督教刊物的一个采访，有一个人说她根本不能想象作为一个基督徒不支持共和党。这种思维方式真是让人好笑，但是却很普遍。 但这一切都是教会教出来的，牧师们功不可没。这次大选中，Iowa州的牧师Rev. Arnold Conrad很是出了名。他当众为John McCain做了一个这么出了名的祷告： “I would also pray Lord that your reputation is involved in all that happens between now and November, because there are millions of people around this world praying to their God -- whether it's Hindu, Buddha, Allah -- that his [McCain’s] opponent wins for a variety of reasons. And Lord I pray that you would guard your own reputation, because they’re going to think that their god is bigger than you, if that happens. So I pray that you would step forward and honor your own name in all that happens between now and Election Day. Oh Lord, we just commit this time to you, move among us, make your presence very well felt as we are gathered here today in Jesus's name I pray.” 现在选举结果出来了，对手大赢，John McCain大输! 既然万事都是出于神，我想这件事上，神给了美国教会一个very strong的message:不要把他和共和党扯在一起。 现在教会多少人根本不认识神，因为牧者自己就不认识神，他们把人的道理教导神。呼召大家为立法禁止同性恋婚姻祷告，为立法禁止堕胎祷告，却不为自己的教会在黑暗的世界中不能做盐和光禁食祷告。 教会里到处是离婚的，贪婪钱财的，说谎的。。。什么都有，据说某神学院的老师还参与换妻。 我希望任何读本文的人能够省察自己的信仰，用心灵和诚实自己评价自己到底对自己的灵魂有多诚实，别老在那里稀里糊涂地混日子了。 神审判这个世界的日子更近了，而审判是从神的家开始。
