18:1 耶和华在幔利橡树那里，向亚伯拉罕显现出来。那时正热，亚伯拉罕坐在帐棚门口，
18:2 举目观看，见有三个人在对面站著。他一见，就从帐棚门口跑去迎接他们，俯伏在地，
18:3 说：“我主，我若在你眼前蒙恩，求你不要离开仆人往前去。
18:4 容我拿点水来，你们洗洗脚，在树下歇息歇息。
18:5 我再拿一点饼来，你们可以加添心力，然后往前去。你们既到仆人这里来，理当如此。”他们说：“就照你说的行吧！”
18:6 亚伯拉罕急忙进帐棚见撒拉说：“你速速拿三细亚细面调和做饼。”
18:7 亚伯拉罕又跑到牛群里，牵了一只又嫩又好的牛犊来，交给仆人，仆人急忙预备好了。
18:8 亚伯拉罕又取了奶油和奶，并预备好的牛犊来，摆在他们面前，自己在树下站在旁边，他们就吃了。
18:9 他们问亚伯拉罕说：“你妻子撒拉在哪里？”他说：“在帐棚里。”
18:10 三人中有一位说：“到明年这时候，我必要回到你这里，你的妻子撒拉必生一个儿子。”撒拉在那人后边的帐棚门口也听见了这话。
18:11 亚伯拉罕和撒拉年纪老迈，撒拉的月经已断绝了。
18:12 撒拉心里暗笑说：“我既已衰败，我主也老迈，岂能有这喜事呢？”
18:13 耶和华对亚伯拉罕说：“撒拉为甚么暗笑说：‘我既已年老，果真能生养吗？’
18:14 耶和华岂有难成的事吗？到了日期，明年这时候，我必回到你这里，撒拉必生一个儿子。”
18:15 撒拉就害怕，不承认，说：“我没有笑。”那位说：“不然，你实在笑了。”

亚伯拉罕为接待陌生旅客立下良好的榜样，我对待身边最亲近的人却是……
18:2-5 亚伯拉罕热情款待这三位客人，罗得也一样（19:2）。当时，个人的声誉与是否殷勤好客大有关系，即便对陌生人，也会像贵宾一样来接待。真诚地款待客人、供应食宿，不但过去或是现在都是最直接和实际地表示对神顺服的方式，也被证明是建立良好人际关系的方法。当我们有机会接待陌生人的时候，应当记得亚伯拉罕的榜样（参来13:2）。
“有甚么事会难倒神吗？”
18:14 没有任何事会难倒神。我们要习惯作如此思考：“我想改变的这种习惯，对主是否太难呢？”“我个人在沟通上有问题，在主是难成的事吗？”这样的问题提醒我们神愿意亲自参与我们的生命，也鼓励我们寻求他的帮助。
撒拉因隐藏著的惧怕而撒谎，在我心的深处，是否也怕……
18:15 撒拉因为怕被人知道她笑了，所以撒谎。我们害怕别人知道我们内心的思想和感情，或者发现我们做错了事，这些惧怕最容易叫人撒谎；但是撒谎比讲出实情令事情更复杂、带来更多的麻烦。我们不从心底信靠神，我们的麻烦会比我们最初想像的更多。

在描述神对亚伯拉罕祝福的应许逐步实现的过程中，创世记
插入了一个双方面的提醒──罪仍在盛行；而神也仍然在审判
罪！所多玛和蛾摩拉是死海南端西订谷的两座城市，前面曾提到
它们（13：10－13和14：17），因为罗得定居在那地。罗得与
此罪恶之地的紧密联系已经给他带来麻烦（创14），但那无法与
即将临到的灾祸相比。耶和华的使者给亚伯拉罕带来了使他喜忧
各半的两条消息。请牢记，随着经文的发展，我们将看到神的罚
恶与他的祝福一样证实他的信实。
观察与评论：
好信息（18：1－15）确认生子时间
1. 耶和华的使者（18：1，13，17）和两个天使（两个人＝两个
使者）在希伯仑向亚伯拉罕显现，亚伯拉罕立刻认出他们不
同寻常，因而他“俯伏在地”（18：2）。
2. 亚伯拉罕盛情款待，客人欣然接受。注意这并不是一个只在
头脑里出现的异象，而是一件实际发生了的事件，因为他们
“吃了”所预备的食物。
3. 耶和华及其天使访客不仅仅是路过那里，他们是有目的而
来。首先，他们特别向亚伯拉罕和撒拉再次确认了神为他们
预备后嗣的应许（18：9－10；见17：19，21）。
“三人中有一位说：‘到明年这时候，我必要回
到你这里；你的妻子撒拉必生一个儿子。’撒拉
在那帐棚门口也听见了这话。”（18：10）
很显然，关于怀孕和出生都是神手的工作。
“到明年这时候，我必回到你这里来。”当时撒拉已90
岁──“年纪老迈”“月经已断绝”（18：11）。
4. 她的反应是心里暗笑，虽然耶和华知道（听见）她心里所想
的（18：12－13）。神的回答是：你必要信在神没有作不到
的事（18：14）！这时撒拉感到很尴尬，但为时已晚（18：
15）。她的窃笑暴露了她的小信。撒拉显然在经历这奇迹过
程中对付了自己的小信，并且把结果当作是神的工（见来
11：11－12），然而她的信心在起初是很弱小的。这就是神
带来的好消息──神在应许祝福的事上是信实的。同时，坏
消息就要临到。

[kjv] Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:

[kjv] And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.
[bbe] And let me get a bit of bread to keep up your strength, and after that you may go on your way: for this is why you have come to your servant. And they said, Let it be so.
18:6 [hgb] 亚伯拉罕急忙进帐棚见撒拉说、你速速拿三细亚细面调和作饼。

[kjv] And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.
[bbe] Then Abraham went quickly into the tent, and said to Sarah, Get three measures of meal straight away and make cakes.
18:7 [hgb] 亚伯拉罕又跑到牛群里、牵了一只又嫩又好的牛犊来、交给仆人、仆人急忙预备好了。

18:10 [hgb] 三人中有一位说、到明年这时候、我必要回到你这里、你的妻子撒拉必生一个儿子．撒拉在那人后边的帐棚门口、也听见了这话。
[lzz] 那位说∶「在妇人怀孕满期的时候（或译∶到明年这时候），我一定要回到你这里来。看吧，你妻子撒拉必生个儿子。」撒拉在后边帐棚听着呢。
[kjv] And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.
[bbe] And he said, I will certainly come back to you in the spring, and Sarah your wife will have a son. And his words came to the ears of Sarah who was at the back of the tent-door.
18:11 [hgb] 亚伯拉罕和撒拉年纪老迈、撒拉的月经已断绝了。
[lzz] 当时亚伯拉罕和撒拉已经老迈，上了年纪；撒拉的女人事儿也停止了。
[kjv] Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.
[bbe] Now Abraham and Sarah were very old, and Sarah was past the time for giving birth.
18:12 [hgb] 撒拉心里暗笑、说、我既已衰败、我主也老迈、岂能有这喜事呢。
[lzz] 撒拉肚子里暗笑着说∶「我已经衰败，我的丈夫也老迈，那里还能有婚媾的乐趣呢？」
[kjv] Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?
[bbe] And Sarah, laughing to herself, said, Now that I am used up am I still to have pleasure, my husband himself being old?
18:13 [hgb] 耶和华对亚伯拉罕说、撒拉为甚么暗笑、说、我既已年老、果真能生养吗。
[lzz] 永恒主对亚伯拉罕说∶「撒拉为什么暗笑着说∶『我既已老迈，果真能生养吗？』
[kjv] And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old?
[bbe] And the Lord said, Why was Sarah laughing and saying, Is it possible for me, being old, to give birth to a child?
18:14 [hgb] 耶和华岂有难成的事么．到了日期、明年这时候、我必回到你这里、撒拉必生一个儿子。
[lzz] 在永恒主、还有奇难事么？到了所定的日期，在妇人怀孕满期的时候（或译∶明年这时候），我必回到你这里来，撒拉必生个儿子。」
[kjv] Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
[bbe] Is there any wonder which the Lord is not able to do? At the time I said, in the spring, I will come back to you, and Sarah will have a child.
18:15 [hgb] 撒拉就害怕、不承认、说、我没有笑．那位说、不然、你实在笑了。
[lzz] 这时撒拉害怕了；就否认说∶「我没有笑。」那位说∶「不，你真地笑了。」
[kjv] Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.
