The reason I don’t support Kim Davis
It’s very simple. I don’t want to live in a society where the law enforcement is depended the belief system of the enforcer. e.g.
-
If I am a fire fighter and evangelical Protestant, If a Hindu Temple is on fire, I should not have the freedom not to put down the fire in the Temple.
-
If I am Muslim and police, I should not have the freedom to arrest anyone who is drinking.
-
If I am a Taiwan Independence supporter and restaurant owner, I should not have the freedom to refuse service to any mainland Chinese.
If we allow such activities in civic life, we will see our society become something we are very familiar with ....
....
China under CCP.
E.g. The Chinese constitution states that all Chinese has the right for religious freedom. But in some province, depending the belief system of local government, they can put Christians in jail any time they want.
Again, If you don’t agree with the law, change the law. There’re many ways to change the law in USA. But don’t mistreat the law simply because you are the enforcer.
Sorry guys, I know you want to talk about Homo "marriage", but this topic has little to do with that.
