Individuality is never lost in the shared imagio deo (image of God).
Just as a group of identical clones share the common genetic make up, so we share the image of God. We are image bearers of God.
Just as individuals clones own a physical identity, so we are individually embodied spiritual beings.
Just as identical twins still have their own individual personalities and attributes, so we are made diverse in unity.
Just as the Tower of Babel caused the diverse languages as a curse, so the multitude of ethnolinguistic groups will be blessed in front of the heavenly throne.
Self-denial is for the greatest good of humanity. Self-denial never denies our individuality. It affirms it by lifting it up to the glorious level of imagio deo.
So do you want to be a dirty child playing mud in the slime pit of darkness, or do you want to play in the pearly court of heaven? It is our choice. The choice is very clear.
