Let me you a story in His-story (sorry I don’t remember the exact time and names):
During the Great Crusade, a Christian prince came to his priest for indulgence. The conversation went something like this:
Prince: “Father, please give me indulgence for killing Muslims”
Priest:” No, I can not”
Prince: “Why not? The Muslims killed thousand of Christians. We need to defend ourselves”
Pries: ”You have blood on your hand. You kill someone in God’s image. Who told you to judge for God? No, it’s a sin. You need to do Penance”
That’s one major difference between Christianity and Islam.
For Islam, it’s ok to kill infidels during Jihad (including 1000+ people killed in 9/11).
For Christianity, Killing is always wrong.
Can we just let God be God?
Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
