Pertaining to Church growth: I believe we have all seen many (Chinese) churches starting from scratch, growing into a fully functional Christian community, then somehow or other, hit a plateau at a certain point and stays either stagnant or grows slowly or even declines in its membership.

So my question is this: what makes a church grow? and what makes it hit that plateau?

For churches that continues to grow, my question is： what percentage of the growth is attributable to attracting believers? and what percentage to converting non-believers? and finally, what is sustaining this growth?
