Only first 25 min. was very competitive for the second game. Since the first game over-spent the strength too much and the energy recovery was poor for all the Chinese soccer players, loosing is the only choice.
The coach should use fresh legs for the second game to start with only few 1st game players, then to substutite them when needed. But, the coach doesn't understand the Chinese players' strength level or durability.
Mostly, no strength in soccer, you can't do anything even you are a good player.
