My mother came visit us in May. I took her go white bass fishing. We went three times (2-3 hours), we caught a total over 50 white bass. We gave most of the fish to friends. The most exciting event is go fishing for walleye, my record is a 31-inch female walleye, which weight 14 LBs. The meat tastes a little sweet, not much bone in it, no fish smell. Walleye is a deep water fish. Usually, live in the big lakes. They come back to Maumee River for spawn every April so you can catch them in the river. So does white bass, except white bass come back spawn in May after walleye run. Catching walleye is hard work, people stand in the cold water should to should, but i enjoys. By the way, the City of Maumee (Ohio) is called walleye capital in the world. Fishing friends should come to enjoy walleye fishing every April.
