然而幸福似乎总是匆匆. 妻子严重的产后忧郁摧毁了他的梦.

妻子从那以后再没有恢复.

他独自把儿女养大.

同时照顾着已迷失了灵魂的妻子.

但他从未丧失对生活的热望.

Gazal诗中写的全是他的真实的精神生活. 所以他的诗非常打动我. 打动我的倒不是这些诗的艺术造诣, 而是诗中强烈的感情.

他的痛苦不是少年人的无病呻吟, 他的热情甚至让少年人望尘莫及.

Abyss

Gazal

When the soul traverses to the abyss of death
the arrogant body becomes a decayed corpse.

When a beloved becomes a memory
that roams with immortal angels.

When survivors choke with guilt
happiness becomes forbidden.

When sadness shrouds them with dark clouds
fate commits them to certain loneliness.

Then, and only then, do they remember well
the love they've lost to eternal emptiness.

深渊

当魂魄滑入死寂的深渊,
高贵的躯体便如腐尸一般.

当爱人携天使之手, 渐行渐远,
空留下回忆与惘然.

当痛责满溢生者心间,
幸福怎能与之结缘?

当悲哀象乌云紧紧纠缠,
注定的命运是孤单.

到那时, 唯有到那时,
才会真正明了:
寂寥恒久远,
伊人永不还.

Festering Wounds

Gazal

You've permeated my soul again,
and spread your many arms,
to reach my festering wounds,
cut with the blind sword of love,
that slashes the hearts of those who love,
but skips the hearts of those beloved.

伤溃

你再次击穿我的灵魂,
张牙舞爪地扑向我的伤痕,
全不顾有那脓血在渗.

你盲目挥舞着爱的利刃.
给爱的人体无完肤,
被爱的人却毫发无损.

Dreadful Dream

Gazal

Who is that stranger in the mirror?
He has grown frail; he has no teeth.
He doesn't remember that he had been a poet.
He has no passion and has lost his hope.
Why is he staring at me?
Oh God, please awaken me.

噩梦

这镜里的陌生人, 啊, 他是谁?
他瘪着掉光了牙的嘴,
虚弱得摇摇欲坠.
难道这就是那曾经的诗人?
他热情已化灰,
绝望如影随.
为何他这样盯着我?
天啊, 快把我从噩梦里唤回.

In The Candle Light

Gazal

Tonight I will lay a long-stemmed rose before me.
I will see you in the swaying flame of the candle
that lights my table without you.
My mouth is salivating for the love bites you feed me.
I will set two glasses on the table,
but I won't drink.
I am already intoxicated with you.
my soul is waiting for yours,
and I hear it knocking on the window.

烛光

今夜我要折一枝长玫瑰,
烛光里有你的面容摇曳,
桌面洒满清辉,
只是身边坐的没有谁.
我贪婪地吞咽,
你赐予的爱之水.
桌上两杯醇香的酒,
但我无意品味.
因我早已为你沉醉,
我的魂期盼与你的灵交汇,
听, 此刻, 它正轻扣我的心扉.

清辉摇丽影，
美酒醉高杯。

情洒思难止，
魂牵魄已飞。

I feel love in my heart,
and rapture in my soul.
Like laughter in my mind,
and moonlight in your eyes.

I've waited way too long,
for sweetness of your kind,
Take me in your world,
and show me how to dream.

Let's climb on satin sheets,
at shades of candle flames.
Let's mingle in tenderness,
to sounds of happy flutes.

I'll pour you all my wine,
and sing you all my songs.
I'll hold you in my arms,
and love you all night long.

月光

我心涨满爱潮,
我魂直上云霄.
你眼中闪烁的月光,
似笑声在我耳际萦饶.

我已等得太长太长,
你风姿独具的姑娘.
请带我到你的世界,
带我到那甜美的梦乡.

让我们展开清凉的丝衾,
躲进红烛的暖影,
让我们温柔地缠绕,
谱一曲轻快的笛鸣.

我将倾我所有的酒,
我会唱尽所有的歌.
