《聯邦憲法》是支撐美國社會的擎天白玉柱，架海紫金梁。那麼由聯邦憲法構建的美國政府怎樣組成？以下幾節逐一介紹：

國會、立法機關、總統、行政部、各級法院、司法部。

聯邦憲法為政府設立了三大部門：立法部門、行政部門、司法部門。

憲法第一章設立立法部門。跟據憲法解釋，國會制定法律。國會（包括參議院、眾議院）是美國政府的立法部門。

憲法第二章設立行政部門（執行部門）。行政部執行國會用過的人法律。行政部確保全體美國人民遵紀守法。總統是行政部門最高長官。副總統和國務院成員也屬於行政部門。

憲法第三章設立司法部門，司法部門的最高司法權在最高法院。司法部門的責任之一是確認政府執法行為是否附和、遵循聯邦憲法，這是一項非常非常重要的責任。

Article I explains that Congress makes laws. Congress (the Senate and the House of Representatives) is the legislative branch of the U.S. government. Article II of the Constitution establishes the executive branch.The executive branch enforces the laws that Congress passes. The executive branch makes sure all the people follow the laws of the United States. The president is the head of the executive branch. The vice president and members of the president’s cabinet are also part of the executive branch. Article III of the Constitution establishes the judicial branch. The judicial branch places the highest judicial power in the Supreme Court. One responsibility of the judicial branch is to decide if government laws and actions follow the Constitution. This is a very important responsibility.
