Good, gooder; bad, better 

We all want to be good, not to be bad. Very often, we are not satisfied to be merely good. We want to be gooder. But it doesn’t work that way. We can only become badder, or better. 

Don’t afraid to be bad. That is the pathway to badder, or better.
