To my limited knowledge, Einstein did not get his Nobel laureate for his relativity work, right? His understanding of quantum physics is still based on deterministic views: "God does not throw dice". He simply cannot compare with Heisenberg,Franc, Borer etc. on this aspect, I can understand - it is too revolutionary a notion for him at that time.
