Anyone who says 政府比任何人都更希望国富民强 is either an idiot, or a hired gun.
Yah, right. You can substitute 中国政府 with almost any emperor. Most importantly, that is a government you can't vote for or against. When you realize that it wants power more than 国富民强 like any other emperor, you can't vote it out. So, where is "four modernization" by 2000? I am sure that 中国政府 wanted it badly too. |
