provided conjunction (often with that) if, given, subject to, in case, in the event, on condition, on the assumption,  contingent upon, as long as, if and only if, ... http://www.thefreedictionary.com/provided    provided that 有 if and only if 的意思吗？   数学书上，“if ” 通常指的是“充分条件”，“if and only if ” 通常指的是“充分+必要”条件。 是吗？
